Taking a walk through the desert at night, imagine what that would feel like. We would be alone, You and me, in a moment I would call eternity. My heart aches, would it be a surprise if I told you the reason why? You know it, just like everything else. There is a void in my heart, resonating the sounds of my dreams. They echo among these walls, back and forth, back and forth. Their loud whispers send me shivers. They send me to places, where I can run through valleys of dahlias, where the sun's warmth never burns my skin, where a butterfly would land on my hand. They take me to a place that doesn't exist, a void I lie amidst. They whisper things they wish I would want. Don’t they know that all I want is You? Do they know, that my heart aches, not because of the dreams they cram my mind with, but because my dreams do not dare show me the way to You? I wish, oh I wish, I could give back just an ounce of the Love You shower me with. But I can't.
My dream resides in this desert night, with the moon as witness of the love I'd pour out for You. The sand would still be warm and crisp, the air would be breezy and there'd be just You and me. I'd tell You about my regrets, and dare ask for forgiveness. With every step I'd take, a whisper would escape, making its way up to the sky, where the stars would sigh in delight as they would've witnessed a dream coming to life. I would let the tears flow, and with it, let the peace grow. You would awaken my soul, and it would chant Your praises. I dream of this, I dream of You and me, I dream of unwavering faith, of an endless solace. I dream of this place, my heart yearns to find again, where I would be able to let go of the chains locking my soul away from the love that awaits. Sweet dream of mine, is to remove this disguise, to bathe in Light, to wander throughout that desert night. My dream-
It came true. You showed me the way, as You always do. The path was right in front of me, You removed the veil on my eyes, so I could see. A step was all it took, and I was in my desert, walking through the night, with You as my companion, and the moon in sight.
My sweet Beloved, I have found You.
The void has been filled
All I need is You.
